Other clubs transfers 2021

Ronaldo won't steal significant minutes away from Sancho, at least you wouldn't think so. Ronaldo is a poacher now, he doesn't do much running anymore so find it hard to believe he's suddenly going to start rinsing people down the wing as if it was the mid-late 2000s again.

That's one of the differences between current day Ronaldo and Messi. Messi is still the heart and soul of every team he plays for, everything runs through him because his overall game/skill set is still complete. Ronaldo on the other hand has transformed himself into a ridiculously clinical striker/poacher who will often remain uninvolved in a match until he gets his chance and inevitably slots it.
Which is why Juve aren't really unhappy to lose him. You'd be pretty miffed if you were Greenwood though. Starts the season well when given the chance for an extended run and then Ronaldo comes in to take your spot.

I think it's poor from Ronaldo and Man United to be honest. He left them to spend the prime of his career at another club, then graces them with his presence by returning at the end of his career.

Dunno how good he is in real life, but Spurs buying Ilaix Moriba from Barca for 20mil - turns into one of the best players in FM.

Mind, you'd think better teams than Spurs would be after him if he was that good. Still, that would be two highly-rated 18 year-old centre mids signed for them this summer for decent money.

Rooney was a genetic freak though who peaked earlier than just about every player ever. He was playing full seasons at the age of 16, granted he didn't look after himself that well and lacked the professionalism of Ronaldo but he was always going to fall off sooner than Ronaldo given his body type and style of play.

Firmly believe Rooney was 26 when he was "16" and is now somewhere in his mid 40's.

He's still a brilliant player. I'm actually excited to see him back in the league as he's one of the best ever. They've had a strong window. Chelsea and united have added in the right areas, they are both going to be immense this season.

Why?. Sancho isn’t a striker.

There's only two spots either side of him...Rashford comes back...that's one left. So it'll be Martial, Greenwood, Sancho battling for one place (unless Martial leaves) or Cavani plays up top and Ronaldo floats across the wide areas.

Bottom line...it's gonna be tough him getting into that team now.
