Your debts and finances are astronomical, $1.57 billion in debt.

You are getting some leeway now because of a new loan agreement with longer payment structure but with the caveat of even higher interest rates every month, Goldman Sachs were obviously high fiving in their offices in Manhattan knowing you're even more of a cash cow of a revenue stream for the next twenty years off that insane loan agreement from them.

Your original loan was for the Camp Nou stadium refurbishment, now that loan is being used to try and keep your head above water while trying to be relevant on the pitch in a decrepit crumbling stadium, you're a long long way from financial stability and you don't have the Messi factor anymore who brought in quite a lot of money into your club coffers.

Only way to save your club is to rip up your fan ownership model and flutter your eyeslashes at one of those despotic human rights abusing states in the Middle East who'll use your club as a Sportswashing entity FC.

Agree with most of this but not that last bit; surely the answer for Barcelona is to keep fan ownership, stop electing absolute incompetents and to focus on homegrown and intelligently recruited players.

They did that from about 2008 onwards and won loads. Getting oligarchs in would be like curing a beak addiction by getting an endless supply of it.

Think it's mad that we're now in a time where club's can just cancel contracts to get rid of players.

Unheard of years ago. Arsenal have let about 4 go like that.

Incredibly harsh but I can't really argue with it, if immediate return results are all that matter.

I would hope that you would come down on the solution @tsubaki put forward. If Barca sells out to oil money then they become..."un club."
