How can I be anything but proud that the ruinous board were kicked out of the club due to the democratic principles of my club and replaced with a leader like Laporta who will right the wrongs both financially & sporting wise. Being a fan of a club where that kind of course correction can take place rather than be beholden to disastrous owners? That is something to be proud of

Your debts and finances are astronomical, $1.57 billion in debt.

You are getting some leeway now because of a new loan agreement with longer payment structure but with the caveat of even higher interest rates every month, Goldman Sachs were obviously high fiving in their offices in Manhattan knowing you're even more of a cash cow of a revenue stream for the next twenty years off that insane loan agreement from them.

Your original loan was for the Camp Nou stadium refurbishment, now that loan is being used to try and keep your head above water while trying to be relevant on the pitch in a decrepit crumbling stadium, you're a long long way from financial stability and you don't have the Messi factor anymore who brought in quite a lot of money into your club coffers.

Only way to save your club is to rip up your fan ownership model and flutter your eyeslashes at one of those despotic human rights abusing states in the Middle East who'll use your club as a Sportswashing entity FC.

Of course, when there is a mess you either clean it up or you fold. All the speculation that Barca was doomed are already proving to be premature. Again, this is the benefit of having a democratic club owned by members - we can course correct which is exactly what is in transition. Should never have gotten to this point, no question and today's pressy from Laporta reflects that and steps that will be taken to fine/prosecute/incarcerate those responsible from the ruinous decade of Bartomeu & Rosell

I'm sure there are those who were hopeful of relegation etc. but I see only a bright future, even without Leo
