Other clubs transfers 2021

I'd say United and Chelsea are (and City may well do). The other 3, much less so. I know Arsenal have spent a bit, but feels a bit desperate.

What really gets me though, is how those above clubs didn't see that the ESL was a desperate attempt for Spanish/Italian clubs who are at best massively falling behind and at worst almost insolvent to remain competitive on a European stage. United, Chelsea and City are now stepping into the breach they are leaving.

Interesting what UEFA decide to do with FFP as like you say the big Euro teams are struggling financially.

If they had sense they would scrap FFP all together but I think they'll do some salary cap based on revenue and try hamstrung the pleb clubs like ourselves whilst giving the likes of Barca chance to buy themselves out of trouble.

No idea what happens with it to be honest, although at present it seems domestic rules are causing a lot of the problems.

Football is a mess currently, and needs proper independent governance.

In fairness, I think it will be very hard for them to come up with a new system based on salaries, that hurt us but helped Barca that was seen as fair in the eyes of the law that is more punitive than this system.

Problem is UEFA are bent and aligned with the ESL clubs so any hopes of reasonable and fair rules are little to none.

Everything they do is to keep said clubs happy and at the top.

I just wish Everton would stick to fingers up to them and spend what they want and take the PL/UEFA to court.

They do yes, though there are probably legal limits to how far it can go. An independent regulator would certainly help in this regard.
