Cant help but feel theres a bit of posturing going on with the Grealish signing.

United signing an ex Man City youth player for big bucks only to be out spent by the noisy neighbours for a player above him in the international pecking order.

We have a French lad on loan from Mainz 05, Jean- Phillipe Mateta, who was never really given a chance by Hodgson and is apparently not fancied by Vieira. Plays in the same position. Armstrong is, apparently, two footed, more mobile, has a ridiculous shots per game ratio and bangs them in. Whether he can do it at PL level, who knows? Is he an Andy Johnson or a Dwight Gayle?
If he hits the ground running I think he may find himself ahead of Benteke in the pecking order as (1) Benteke had his contract renewed before Vieira was in charge and,(2) I don’t think Benteke’s game suit Project Patrick.

One weird part of this Grealish thing is people thinking he's not going to play. Can anyone name all of the City players that had more assists than him last year (I know assists aren't everything roll with it)?
