That's what I think. Of course with the Bale money that will change, but attack wise they aren't too bright. Defoe might be off too.

Arsenal will buy too. Wenger is playing it cool as he knows the fans will have his balls if he doesn't. Gerviniho and Chamake both off too. Somethings brewing.

Arsenal have shipped out 26 players this summer! Unreal.

Things will move now the Fabregas thing has been sorted i think

I think their balance needs quite a bit of work. They've stockpiled midfielders but don't know what to do with them and quickly move them on again. Parker was at his peak when he went there and Huddlestone, Lennon, Sigurdsson, Dembele and Dempsey have all floundered. If they're going to play Lennon, Sandro, Paulinho and Chadli across the middle with possibly Holtby in behind Soldado I wouldn't be overly concerned.

If, as expected, Defoe leaves they're going to need to recruit again because they've only got the disinterested Adebayor and Harry Kane as cover. And at CB Gallas has left and Kaboul, Vertonghen and Dawson are injured.

It seems like Wenger has prioritised a striker. It surprises me that he hasn't made a few smaller purchases (such as Cesar) in the meantime though. Talk of Cazorla going back to Spain is odd and I'd have expected them to have made more noises about their buy-back option on Fabregas. It's hard to fathom their strategy at the moment.

I think he's made up of approximately 65% Drenthe. Seen him have some excellent games, I've also seen him check out early way too much. Would be excellent in a league like the MLS, where for the most part you only have to turn in on in the playoffs.

Dempsey has a clause in his contract that he gets 1 loan deal in the MLS offseason. Should be something to think about if we are in the hunt for 4th.
