lol, wut ?

Levy is the don businessman, they have a reasonable wage cap in place, charge crazy amounts for tickets, have a 5 year waiting line for season tickets and have excellent corporate facilities.

They are a brilliantly run club, id kill for us to be run as well them.

A 5 year waiting list means nothing if you can't get them in the ground, and even if their tickets and corporate facilities make double what ours do they've spent (or are spending) £100m compared to our £6m and are paying much higher wages anyway. I'm not saying they're poorly run.

So basically this Joe Lewis fella's rich?

Joe Lewis is our owner

Joe Lewis (born 5 February 1937) is a British businessman who currently lives in Lyford Cay, New Providence, Bahamas.

Lewis' total wealth is estimated at $4.2 billion, and he is listed as the 308th richest person of Forbes’ List of billionaires (2013). Forbes reports Lewis is the ninth wealthiest person in Britain

It has been reported/speculated that (partly with the encouragement of his daughter) he has loosened the purse strings.

Could we buy Joe Lewis from you? £3.5m over four years. You'll have to wait until we 'move someone on' though...

I'm guessing the money they are now spending is offset against the expected income from The sale of Bale.... also their wage bill has actually decreased over the last 12 or so months by getting big earners off the wage bill like Pavlychenko. VDV, King, Parker, Modric and a few others.... also Bale's wages will come off that too......... they wre operating at about a 90 million wage bill a few years ago but at the moment I thin I read that it's about 75 million now .

*sourced from a spuds fan posting on Rawk who made it mor clear than I did. Basically they have money to play with.

The Guardian are claiming that the reported Bale deal is 108 million euro, which would suggest its 80 million plus and Coentrao.

If so, that is such a fantastic deal for Spurs its not true.

My brother in law joined the ST waiting list for 2013-2014 & he is number 38k. A good mate of mine been on it 6 years & is number 5300 odd.

The Kopites have a waiting list of 10,000,000,000,000,000. And you die before you get anywhere near one. We cba and don't like waiting.........

Lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky carts.

I think the whole country is insanely jealous at the value they, Spurs, are getting there.

Football gone mad.

Wouldn't it be ace if Madrid came in with a 40 million bid for Fellaini now seeing as Alonso is out for a few months injured... that would ruin Moyes season ha ha
If he wants to leave, a deal with City would make some corn pop in Mcr :)

My Spurs mate reckons they've also agreed 25m for Lamela and Roma just need to line up a replacement before it is rubber sealed.

Hate those carts. So lucky.

No sure about that. Heard we have expressed some interest via the Baldini link but not sure it has gone much further.
