Man City paying 34m for a player aged 28 who is capped only 5 times for Brazil.

That in itself suggests they are being mugged right off.

Anybody concur?

Edit: having looked back over the last few pages, I see others clearly concur.
 
Fernandinho is class (seen him play twice) they've paid loads for him but it doesn't really matter what they pay.

But it's not real money is it, when its City's money.

I also think Fernandinho was so expensive because they had to buy out his contract and he was on insane amounts of money, he's taken a pay cut to join them.

it is though, because City will have tyo flog players on to comply with FFP.

Nobody will pay the money for their second string? I think they will pay enough to off set transfer dealings. It's not particularly fair that they can do this but they will.
