What he's saying is kind of valid but it doesn't really need to be in here. There are threads for that already

Spurs are desperate to get in the CL Club aren't they?

I wonder if this splurging will work?

Its now or never for them I reckon, RM is banging at the door for Bale while Monaco wants AVB to lead them.

Maybe Martinez doesn't think Bony is worth £13m? £13m is a lot of money and we're going to pay just over a third of that for Kone. Let's see how many goals each of them score this season, I bet they won't be more than 2-3 goals apart.

Weird that Swansea's best player is an attacker though

Maybe they're resigned to the fact that Michu could be off if another club puts a good bid in?

I think they might keep hold of Michu. He was brilliant in the early part of the season but went a bit quiet towards the end. It will be interesting to see how he handles his 2nd season.

Not saying I wouldn't rather have Bony than Kone (tee hee, that rhymes) from what I've seen/heard though.

Only dealing in facts tho Kurt. He is right.

How the hell is that fact? We aren't even 1 month in the window yet and we are judging it.

QPR were ambitious last year, I'm sure they will enjoy being in the championship.

ha ha, Spurs? they've signed Paulinho (really didnt need him) and nobody else.

Plenty of otehr teams have 'dream' spines that are better

Nobody wants Everton do "do a QPR".

We want ambition. QPR wasn't ambition, it was pathetic, signing a bunch of mercinaries who had no feeling for the club whatsoever.

We want two or three players - not a whole squad.

When you hear the manager firstly talking about making use of a "global market", then see him making a free transfer and a 30 year old striker from the club he relegated last season as his first signings, you start to lose faith quickly.

The last 12 years have shown us there is no money, Kenwright himself confirmed it a few weeks ago at the AGM, so what evidence is there that this 5m for Kone won't be the bulk of our transfer war chest?

It's a dreadful signing, and a terrible start to the Martinez era if it goes through.

They'll be superb next season.

Lloris, Vertonghen, Paulinho, Bale, Villa - what a spine to their team. Probably the best in the league.

Compare that to us
Howard, Jagielka, Fellaini, Gibson, Kone ()

They'll be top five for a long time. Even the likes of Swansea, Southampton might catch us up, and I fully expect Liverpool won't be as ****e as they currently are for to long.

All while the generous William Kenwright gives Roberto a fiver a year to fire us to the Champions League.

Spurs are one of the best run clubs in the prem. They spend big ,have ambition, don't hang on to players or managers for years on end and will never be called plucky little spurs We on the other hand are one of the worst run clubs in the prem. No money, no investment, no ambition and if you want a new contract you can have it policy.
