I don't like getting personal and slating players, but there's no real option with most of our players being as bad as they are.
True, we should have won that game last night, as our performance deserved it. Even schnides played well. I believe 99% of players try their hardest on the pitch, but trying doesn't matter if you're just not a good footballer.
Oumar is a tryer, but he's just a painfully poor professional footballer. You can see it when he comes on; the tension and worry in his face because he is frightened to death at being found out that he can't play football. His touch is awful. some players in my son's under 8 team have a better first touch than him, and i'm not even joking.
we got him from Russia, and loaned him to Birmingham, so that's at least 3 top football coaches who believe Niasse offers something on the pitch, who actually believe he should be paid to play football. now, we're not professional coaches, but every last one of us knows this guy, at best, plays sunday league football if he's lucky. I keep asking myself how this is allowed to happen, and how poor the judgement is of these scouts and coaches who have recruited him.
someone mentioned in an earlier post the Brazilian guy who conned his way to Southampton under souness and was subbed after 20 mins when magnum realised the guy had never kicked a ball in his life. I feel the same every time I see Niasse play. Why is he playing in the premier league?
I don't like being this personal when it comes to players, but sometimes you've just gotta 'say what you see'.
