Echo reporting today a number of championship clubs are in for him and he's making things difficult and refusing to leave. What an absolute disgrace of a player. He's a nobody, he's achieved nothing apart from taking money and is a waster. I hope he doesn't get a club in the summer.

but when he comes on our dead heads will Chant his name

Certainly seems like he's waiting to walk before he's pushed, wanting to see out the remainder of his contract at the club.

Bit of a weird stance to take really. Maybe it's a pride thing? He made his way back in under Koeman and got a loan moves to Cardiff and Hull prior, both of whom were still in the Prem at the time. Maybe he just genuinely doesn't want to be seen to move down a level before he is eventually released?

This is brands job, joke the way he has handled players.
Really?

It's his fault that he hasn't been able to physically push players out of the door whom signed bumper contracts under the previous regime? He can't do that unless we agree to buy these players out of said contracts, if that's still even possible at all..

This is just like Dave's flawed argument. It's one thing having clubs interested in an unwanted player - it's another getting said unwanted player out the door if he really doesn't want to go, as is the case here.

At least he sorted the Cardiff loan out.

That's quite an achievement I think

Something in the region of 60k a week? I wouldn't move if I was in his position with his level of ability. I would however go and try somewhere else a level or two down, if Everton made up any difference over the remainder of my contract. He could secure a few more years on a reduced but still decent gravy train. The wages in the Championship are not insignificant nowadays - he could leave here, and be on a 2 or 3 year deal at 10-15k a week. That could be arranged now. He could trouser another million or so if he moves. What does he think he is going to get if he waits until summer, a huge signing on bonus?

Should of sold him even of only for 1m or even free as long as they pick up his wages
Two potential glaring issues with that, mate..

1) maybe said clubs didn't want a permanent deal? we can't force them into one..
2) maybe Niasse himself didn't want a permanent deal? again, we can't force him
