Refer to my below post mate but he comes across really well. Think him and Rom could really compliment each other. As someone mentioned earlier, including Kone (yikes), that's a £50mil forward line in terms of transfer fees.

I hope I'm not a bad fan if I'd never heard of the lad til about 40 minutes ago.

I always get the impression from watching Lukaku, that he loves playing in a team. as he knows he can do the business and gets frustrated when he doesn't score.

You're right. This could be ace with regards to attacking football. The sort of thing we pay to see.

I just worry why we are leaking so many goals. Need to tighten up.

Would be exciting if Bobby's gonna try a 442. Niasse and Rom two powerhouses up front, Mo and McCarthy box to boxers in centre mid (like Ince and Keane), Del on the right and Barkley on the left in a new 'Bainaar' style partnership with Baines. Bainley perhaps.
Not sure about Barkley on the left but Bain-ley is definitely preferable to Bar-nes.

Can he play against Newcastle Wednesday night? Apologies if already asked like.
"With 13 goals and 10 assists in 23 appearances for Lokomotiv this season, Niasse, who can also play wide, was a target for several leading European clubs but he has opted to join the Toffees and is expected to have visa clearance and therefore be eligible for this weekend’s Premier League game at Stoke. He will be paraded on the pitch at Goodison on Wednesday evening."

Nobody had heard of him bar one or two mate.

Rom thrives when he has a partner - maybe not playing in a 4-4-2, but when Kone played out wide left - drifting in field and linking up with Rom, we score loads and Rom doesn't look so isolated.

I think it's obvious that this is the route RM has chosen to go down rather than looking for a direct replacement for Pienaar, and Niasse will hopefully be able to fill in for Kone in that role as well as being a capable back up striker.

It means we can mix things up game by game as well - e.g. I for one always think Mirallas and Lennon are a perfect wing partnership for when we play away from home on the counter.

As for the defence, bar Howard (which could be resolved by simply dropping him for Joel...) I don't think it's too much of an issue in terms of the personnel - they're all good players. It's as a unit and a team that we need to defend better.
