Hello, guys. I'm Russian, so, I'm sorry for my English. Moreover, I'm a little bit confused to be writing here as I'm a Liverpool fan, but I'm not gonna break out a war here. But I'm a fan of Lokomotiv Moscow as well. I had been watching every Niasse's home match from the stadium and I can say for sure he's a very hard working player. When I've seen him the first time, I was wondered how FCLM could buy such a literally wooden player. I was dreaming the whole summer about his leaving and seems he was about to be sold but it hasn't happened. After the first three-four games of the seasons I've completely changed my mind about him. He has scored some really top class goals. For example, when I was at the game against "Spartak" (we've won 2-1 on their stadium), I saw him scoring, that goal was really amazing. At the end of the match he was more than just tired but he kept running, pressing, shooting and doing everything to help the team. That's how I've remembered him. I don't think he'll be scoring like Lukaku, he may do it tho, but I'm sure you'll like him, because he will do his best to help his team, so, I wish him good luck here (ofc, not against Liverpool, sorry). Also, I would like to know your thoughts about him, what're you expecting?
Again, sorry for my English, I know it's upsetting, but I've never posted on English forums before.

Thanks for your thoughts mate.

I think a lot of us don't really know what to expect - he has a very unusual style and it's always hard to predict how a player will fit into a new club/league. I think this is really one that will either be fantastic or a complete flop.

And don't worry about your English - it's a lot better than our Russian!

I've no clue how it works, but you do see some lads go straight into the team after being signed. Just thought it was strange.

Same princple as working overseas in a place you need a visa...company offers contract and you sign it pending visa approval. If the visa is denied the contract is void.

Hi mate, welcome to the forum.

How does Niasse compare to Dame N'Doye ?

Hopefully fsr better :)

Thank you for the answers :).
About Niasse and N'Doye. Tbh, they both were brilliant in terms of Russian Premier League, and having joined Hull Dame kept scoring. In my opinion, Dame is more like a tank. He's got some strength and also he had, I dunno how to say, like a feeling of goal. He usually was at the right place in the right time. Niasse likes a lot of running, he's not so predictable as Dame. That's what I saw from the stadium. I think, yeah, Niasse has more potential, especially, if we take into consideration the style of Everton, so. At least, I think, he will bring more wonderful moments than Diniar Bilyaletdinov. Ah, Diniar, Diniar...

An obvious thing, I think, is that he needs to play. If Martinez is gonna keep him on the bench, then, ofc, it will give no any effect. But if he plays he's gonna be in good shape).

If were gonna mention n’doye then gonna have to mention ‘lacina traore & that brazilian ‘ jo’ cos for the life of me please tell me he’s a different class then those 2 who both had pretty good scoring records over there, even aiden mcgeady hit 12 in and these were all painful aquisitions for us. no disrespect to your league but please be abe to tell us that niasse has actually got good potential and isnt at there standard

Welcome mate, thanks for the info, we could do with an attacker than also presses so all that sounds very encouraging.

No idea what to expect really, probably take him a bit to settle into the country and the league but looking forward to seeing him play. He sounds slightly crazy as well which could make life interesting!

Hope you stick around the forum, good to have fans from other clubs on here even if you have made the mistake of choosing Liverpool as one of them ;)

When I was at school, I don't remember exactly, but it was in the end of 2000s, my mum has bought a football shirt to me. It was a shirt of Everton.... She knew I was a fan of Liverpool but she didn't even think about the rivalry. Hahaha. The shirt was really cool, nice, but I couldn't wear it as I was red already. The only reason I put on the shirt a couple times was Diniar Bilyaletdinov, he was playing for Everton for that time.
Anyway, thanks for the good replies, despite the fact I love Liverpool (a team and the city even though I've never been to there...) I always respected Everton, and, as I know, Everton fans showed their respect after Hillsborough so).

Is Martinez gonna include him to the starting line-up against Newcastle or to the bench at least? I think he might be useful. Looking forward to seeing him today. I think the atmosphere of the English stadiums in general and the Goodison in particular will make him give his best.

No worries. He's got a good potential, that may be not so evident in his first games. All he needs is playing. He looks very confident, I'd say self-confident, but it doesn't interfere him to keep working hard so. His attitude is very different compared to those 2.
Lol, feeling like Martinez or Rodgers telling about "working hard", "attitude", "potential" etc haha.
