Everton FC should also target the next "Messi", even looks like him a bit, he also plays for Lokomotiv. Only 20 years old and has scored 2 goals, 2 assists this season.

I'm pleased that his first experience of Goodison was a good one. The atmosphere was probably a bit more lively than he's used to. I hope he gets a run out on Saturday.

Ahh, but his second will be torrid. Has a great game for 60 minutes, one assist and then fires a free kick into row Z. This displeases the Anti-Barkley brigade and their leader, Terry, who has seen enough and begins terroring Niasse also. This then turns our new signing into Nyarko.

Lash me, I'm a merchant of doom.

I think Roberto is planning something brilliant with this signing. Two bulky, pacy target men with an eye for goal supplied by Gerri and Barkley. I may be dreaming, but it would be unstoppable if Niasse pans out and Roberto uses him in the starting lineup. He also could be a very expensive backup striker with an eye for goal... That would make me sad but we desparately needed one

The forward’s first venture to Europe failed when he was 22, as injuries hampered his chances of making an impact at the Norwegian club Brann, so he returned to his native Senegal. But his compatriot and the former Reading defender Ibrahima Sonko recommended him to the Turkish club Akhisarspor, where he made such a strong impression that Lokomotiv Moscow snapped him up after a season. He was even more successful there and was voted 2015 Russian Player of the Year as a reward for the damage he did to opposing defences, scoring 13 goals and creating more. Now 25, Niasse can play either centrally or wide on the right, where his speed and dribbling power make him difficult to contain. Like his new Everton team-mate Romelu Lukaku, he needs to fine-tune his hold-up play and, furthermore, could do with adjusting his timing in terms of offsides but when running on to the ball, or with it, he can be marvellously destructive and is usually a smart finisher.

Did you actually watch the game last night? Our fans dislike a player and end up watching a different game than most of us. Absolutely ridiculous comment.

This is true, they seem to rate the player as a name and not what he does in the match. I am seeing this with cleverly too, who has been brilliant. Sometimes i think the cleverly haters are the ones that don't see his clever movement off the ball that creates space for himself and others.
