Wonder if we'll ever see a genuine two upfront. Would love to see two class strikers in tandem at Goodison again one day. I remember when we bought Johnson and everyone was going mad over the prospect of Beattie and Johnson as a two. Hardly ever saw it though.

Yeah Yakubu and Johnson were another who didn't see much game time. Sadly we haven't really had the footballers to make two Uptop work. You look at Leicester though and they got a tune out of Ulloa so it obviously can be done if you have the right system. I still think it's a shame we've never seen Mirallas as a second striker to Lukaku, their interplay in advanced positions is really good but Kev is often stuck on a wing.

Yeah, got to admit I couldn't get Moyes when we'd start with Cahill uptop with Fellaini behind him but have Saha and Yakubu sat on the bench. Mind you it seemed to work sometimes.
