Don't take offence mate as it's not a personal swipe at you - well from most people at least. Nor do I think it's that people do not believe you.
Instead, people are justly sceptical about anything coming from 'people in the know'. Some are totally true, while some have elements of it.
Most are nothing more than false claims and speculation! So unless people see tangible evidence then there'll always be hesitation and doubt.
Unless you put a name to any claim, which I understand is a difficult if not impossible thing to do as it adds liability to them, then it'll happen.
I'm not saying yours is not true, and I try to give the benefit of the doubt and take it into consideration, but expecting 100% trust is naive.
All I'd recommend is say what you know and if people believe it then great; if they don't then take no offence. If you're correct then you'll get praise.
