Lets be fair here, he can't just give you the name of his cousin if he really works there. 'my cousin is [insert name here] '. Now everyone knows that his cousin is telling people an Everton player is absolutely crap. Doesn't really look good, does it?

That was my point. Without a name people will be quite fair in their scepticism, but to name him would then potentially put his career in jeopardy.

As an employer, I'm sure Everton wouldn't take too kindly to an employee releasing any information especially if it could be deemed critical.

Nothing to do with already being in the public domain, but it could easily be perceived as lack of confidentiality and a sign of misconduct.

Well that's how I'm sure Everton would possibly see it. It's a Catch 22 situation really.

I don't believe you mate but then I don't believe many people proclaiming to have inside knowledge. Everton have proved to be fairly water tight with what gets released to the fans. Also, people who do get a bit info tend to keep it to themselves as their source trusts them not to go spouting off on Internet forums.

But...he's saying a player on Everton is absolutely crap. Surely you can see how this might reflect poorly on his cousin should the name come out?

I mean, let's be honest, if there were people in Everton reading this, I'm sure they could figure it out with the info he's already given but to give his name just cements who it is.

That's sound tbf. Not asking for anyone too but I did want to share what I know.

I've never claimed to be 'itk' though, he will never be told anything about transfer or anything like that etc - simple see him maybe as little as once a year and he gives me an update (or like in this case my uncle tells me).

The first time he gave me some info it was about the first team/coach meeting martinez held. I did post about that somewhere too

To be fair to @Abraders , I would imagine his cousin would be in hot water if the club discovered that he was passing on information about the readiness, or lack thereof, of individual players. If the club was happy for this type of information to go public, they'd put it out themselves.

Not judging him on what he's played yet, clearly deserves time and a proper chance like. Whenever he is considered ready if that ever is.
