I can only tell about what i think mate. Majority thought it was great to throw away 40m to keep stones. Majority elected Hitler as well ;-) were they right ?

majority didn't decide hitler, they won 43.9% of the vote, and that was after they'd basically for months been attacking the trade unionists/Communists and other groups through the power they had when Hitler was made chancellor - so not exactly a fair vote, the previous election they'd recieved 33% of the vote (an election which they still intimidated opponents during)

so nah your wrong mate, even in a rigged election under duress the majority didn't want Hitler :)

For what it's worth, I could at least see why we signed Bily. He obviously had a lot of quality, but he didn't settle and never really got to grips with the league's pace and physicality. Despite that, you could always see that he had a great left foot and he could pick a pass.

It's early days with Niasse, but at the moment it's unclear exactly what has led someone to believe he's worth what we've paid for him. A lot of people who'd seen him in Russia questioned it at the time (unlike the Bily transfer), and nothing we've seen so far suggests he's a great player just finding his feet.

P.S Billy was not good enough for this league and most certainly he was amazingly not suited for a Moyes team, and it's been shown by the fact he has done absolutely nothing since returning to Russia which is a crap league

Obviously entitled yo your opinion mate. That's yours of course.

I can't quite see what you saw in the man Diniyar though.

I'm not totally in agreement with @Polish_Blue_Army but I would say that in my opinion, David Moyes did not make the most of Bilyaletdinov.
He was a very talented player who perhaps came to the wrong league at the wrong time.
I rated him, sadly he just didn't get played right or adapt to the situation he was put in.
I think most would agree though that some of his goals for us were spectacular... Manu at GP, Wolves away, Pompey at home last day of the season to name but three.

Never said he was the world's beater. Only said he was more useful for us than kevin mirallas in the past 15 months after being rewarded with the new contract. That is it and if "a majority" think that mirallas was so outstanding in that time...well..that speaks for itself

Moyes would have got in 3 players for that money

Championship players values have increased massively.

This isnt 10 years ago where players went for £2mil, we got £8.5 for naismith and Afobe went to bournemouth for £11mil.

Think Moyes days are long gone.

Unlike your ma who was touched by the majority of the city

The Niasse thread and tempers are fraying over Diniyar Bilyaletdinov...
