I could see Everton and Utd playing turgid, 0-0 stuff, then Niasse coming on and spooning a half volley hit and hope from 40 yards which somehow ends up nestling in the onion bag.
He'll go down in English footballing folklore - the footballer who can't play football, costing £13million, who came on in the closing moments of an FA Cup Semi Final to score the most spectacular own goal in the history of the game to put his team out, never to be seen in a pair of football boots again.

I read he wasn't scouted as such we were watching slimani the centre forward of sporting Lisbon in a Europa league game & niasse scored a belter so he was suddenly on the radar. Kevin reeves I'm sure is the scout perhaps we then went &'watched him a few more times but the signs don't seem positive.
In fact just checked that was sept 17 so surely we went back & watched him a number of times

Think this is a case of money overruling smart thinking, think we planned Niasse for the summer, got told his value would go up based on how he was performing before the Russian break so we charged in like a bull in a China shop and paid up front. A better manager wouldn't be as stupid

Playing 15-20 passes with Stevie P at halftime, he failed to control one from SP and most if not all of his to SP weren't within six feet of SP.
He then tried one or two little tricks on his own and I'm not kidding fellas, he looks beyond poor.
I so, so, so want to be wrong on this, but I fear we've flushed £13 million down the toilet.

He hasn't mate. I couldn't find how many games they've had from the moment he signed until now. I should imagine there must have been 4 or the games he could have played in.
