I can understand the fact that the realisation has dawned in training that this fella isn't good enough for the Premier League - but I cannot understand why he hasn't been used in reserve games to improve his fitness/test him out?

£13m is a massive amount of money for us - It's not like a Winston Bogarde situation at Chelsea, they could afford to take that hit

Hes clearly gash and a panic buy at its finest. Probably the sale of Naismith with him desperate for regular football meant we had to go for whatever was available and this was the lad they had looked at a few times and thought he might be worth a risk.

Hes not the first player from the russian leagues to be utter crap, newcastle have one of their own atm in Doumbia who looked incredible for CSKA tricked Roma into paying 14 million and can't even get a game for Newcastle. Jo was another for City 19 million and awful in english football.

Its like i said a few weeks ago, fitness and lack of minutes doesn't excuse a player not being able to do anything correct in the short spells he has had, take Davies today for example a young lad who has never played a professional game came on and showed more composure and presence than Niasse has in his 4 months here.

Can't see him improving either, if he doesn't even warrant minutes on the pitch when Kone is leading the line and his best contribution was a failed overhead kick it gives you an indication of how utterly useless he must currently be.

Could really be a fitness thing - or the step up to the quality of the prem is too much - big players have struggled here before - Falcao etc
