You really can't compare Falcao to anyone really. The guy had a knee injury that really should hav made him retire. He's a shadow of the player he was before the injury. It's not the Premier League, the guy really isn't anything like he was in general.

This is indeed a very odd situation, but I can't work it out. It doesn't sound as though he was a stab-in-the-dark or panic signing:
