Oumar Niasse

A phenomenal amount of pure bull manure from Martinez about Niasse. Everything he said made no sense whatsoever.
He's not ready to play 90 minutes, and yet he's not prepared to give him minutes to improve his match sharpness.

The lad must be absolute mince if he can't get even a cameo appearance in a game where we're chasing the points and Kone is on the pitch ahead of him.

He's acting like 20 minutes in the Premier League needs the same preparation in terms of fitness as competing in an Ironman contest.

Absolute nonsense and obvious lies from a master BS'er.

Talk about undoing Moyes' good work. Moyes brings in Naismith on a free, and despite a certain Mr Dave K slating him to oblivion, he proves that he is a capable yet unremarkable premier league player, and we end up making 8 million pound profit on him after benefiting from his services for three or four years. Then Bobby Martinez comes along, the man with the midas touch, and what does he do, he completely invalidates the 8 million we made on Naismith through spunking twice the amount on someone who appears to be far worse than Naismith ever was!

Listening to Martinez on the radio about Niasse i just think he is trying to divert attention away from the fact he isn't playing. If he moves on in the summer or rots in the reserves next season when he is gone then martinez won't care about the poor signing, he will be long gone.

I want the lad to play and succeed but if he isnt playing for the reserves, isnt playing for the team, and the reason given is lack of fitness then then i ask questions about that personally. I could be match fit by now, and i am nowhere near playing football for everton.

So when RM lashed out £13.5m in January I don't remember him saying that any appearances made this season would be a bonus and basically we won't see him until next season.

Yeah lets ignore all those other players who's worth has gone up under him.

Niasse has yet to play a proper game so you know nothing about him yet. Same as the rest of us.

There is absolutely something fishy about this whole thing. Big money signing who took about 3 weeks just to even appear in the matchday squad, then we get some story about him having wrist surgery...We get a couple of 2 minute sub appearances, followed by a bizarre longer introduction against West Ham when a half fit centre forward was absolute the last player we needed to bring on for the last 15 minutes. A couple more two minute cameos, and now we're getting all this spiel that he's not fit? Why has he not played under 21 games? Did someone honestly think that a 60 minute run out or two for the kids wouldnt be more beneficial than a few 5 minute appearances at the end of games?

Whatever the problem is, it all smells like Per Kroldrup. There is something weird going on here. Because the official line is absolute rubbish.

Its the Niasse thread mate hence why he is the subject

Thats the whole point isnt it, the only people who see him think he isnt good enough to play

More importantly, Treasure Island Dizzy was the far better game.

There could be many reasons why he hasnt played much yet. Its all supposition. Seems to be an awful lot of that going on these days where Everton is concerned.

As for it being the Niasse thread, then surely Naismith's worth isnt relevant either?

The lad is shell-shocked already by the pace of Premier League football.

You can almost read his mind: "Right, I've got the ball. Now....wtf just happened???. Where's the ball gone??"

and that's only in the pre-game kick-about !!

If you believe he isn't fit after 3 months at the club or that a wrist injury he played 23 games with before we signed him is keeping him out then fair enough.

We used the Naismith money to buy Niasse in the same window and in the same position. He was meant to be a replacement/imrovement, hence the original post you replied to.
