Oumar Niasse is very close to becoming an Everton player, according to several reports in the Russian media. The Lokomotiv forward left his club's facilities yesterday so he could travel to England and complete a move to the Premier League, say Russia's Sport Express.

The transfer is being treated as almost done by the Russian media and as long as there's no hiccups, an announcement shouldn't be too far away.

Niasse is a 25 year old forward who can play across the front three, primarily as a striker. Having only played a handful of times for Senegal, Everton may have problems securing a work permit, unless the footballer holds an EU passport, which is quite possible.
