He has a really good burst of pace which is needed in this league, has huge confidence in himself by a few interviews I have heard with him, in a lower standard league he does what you would expect a striker to do and scores/provides assists, supposed to be a good hard working player and good to play with as well - not selfish etc, the weaker parts of his game haven't needed to be improved in this league as the standard is low enough he can get away with those flaws - 'maybe' in a much tougher league he can improve those when he has to do.

That's my glass half full version of him mate

What he will bring is someone who works his arse off for the team and has a good engine on him - which just on those alone will buy him some time to settle with the fans.

We signed him for 5-6m I'd be fine with it overall, just think we are overpaying by a decent margin for what he really should be worth mate

Well, looks like we will go 4-3-3 with him in the team now on the left side...if is is hard working then that of course helps as Kone never can be seen running back effectively.

If this is the case then Kone reverts back to cover for Rom and Mirallas competing with Niasse on the left of fhe "trident".

Knocked back for Slimani and went in for him with the same bid it seems...

£13.5mil though, this buys a really good player but perhaps not a workhorse type who can assist and score...perhaps he will do better with us playing off lukaku and not as the CF.

Have to say though, appears as though no room for Yarmolenko unless Mirallas leaves and this chap is then used as competition for both Lukaku and Yarmolenko.

Part of me wonders why Lokomotiv wants to sell the player when he's under contract through next season and the club are still in the Europa League as well as within striking distance of the Champions League qualification places. If he was that good, surely they would want to hold on to have a chance in those competitions.

they'll just buy some other african or south american replacement for a couple of mill then sell them on for massive profit too

...probably because they only paid £4m for him not so long ago.
