I think I know what people mean though: we need to plug gaps defensively and goals aren't a problem. In that sense I suppose it makes sense. If it were me I'd use the cash to pay Howard off and get a decent GK in.
I agree mate but as someone on here mentioned earlier, our defensive individuals are all very good players - it's just how we defend, unfortunately, though I stand by my point that since the Stoke game I believe we've shown signs of improvement.
And in fairness, you don't see many good goalkeepers available in Jan - if they're any decent the selling club would command a ridiculous amount to sell their goalkeeper half way through the season.
The answer, in the short term at least, is dropping Howard and getting Robles in. One thing I won't at least see the logic in from Martinez is keeping him in the side.
