nothing whatsoever, he was a panic signing by martinez bought from a league that has a completely different season ending to us, he was not fit when bought he was rushed into the first team when not ready. that is why i am reserving my judgement until i see him play in a competitive match this season. is that ok? or can I call him all the names under the sun when he doesnt score against espanyol?

I don't really see the point of loaning him back to Russia. Either give him a British club (is someone would take him) to help him adapt or sell him and cut our losses. If he goes back to Russia and scores 20 goals what do we do with him in 12 months time?
