Oumar Niasse

True but I felt difference came from the loss of Lennons energy on that side whereas Niasse randomly strolled around the middle of the park showing no effort at all.

I just don't think he is talented enough and does not put enough effort in either.

He seriously has not played enough for us to make that judgement.

Also for the West Ham game...if Lukaku doesnt fluff the penalty....

I'm genuinely confused at what you're saying here. First you said he was rushed into the first team and someone correctly said it couldn't have been further from the truth and then here you talk about the lack of results, how much he cost, and that Lukaku had been crap and he still wasn't in the team during that time.
What is hard to understand?

I said he was rushed into the first team because he was not fully fit

What is hard to fathom about that?

When results then started going bad an unfit niasse was then forced into the first team because of a poor lukaku and because the manager was under pressure to explain why his expensive striker was just bench warming. His hand was forced by the media speculation and he hoped it might pay off by playing niasse but it clearly didn't and because of Martinez's forced hand people have formed a definitive opinion on a player who was never given a chance to show what he can do when fully fit and match ready in this league.

Oh so you reckon he wasn't fit instead of being crap? Don't know if I agree. We'll see what happens.

Niasse joined us in January. He'd apparently played in Russia until December, so he'd missed at most a few weeks. How long exactly does it take for a professional sportsman to regain fitness? Far from being "forced into the first team" Niasse didn't even appear on the bench until late February, when he had five minutes or so against a weakened Bournemouth team with us 2 - 0 up. A handful more substitute appearances followed, mostly of a few minutes' duration, before making his full debut at the end of April. In these admittedly brief appearances, Niasse has shown absolutely nothing to justify the huge fee he cost.

So, to sum up; Martinez spent a fortune on a player who was so drastically unfit that it would take months to get him to speed, that is, so unfit it would have precluded him passing a medical; or one who just doesn't have it in him to play football at Premier League level.

Case closed, Thanks Matlock.

Then we go 3-0 up, and end up drawing 3-3. And Oumar still runs around like his legs are controlled by a puppeteer. And his second touch is still always a tackle. And it's still the worst substitution i've ever seen, because Oumar Niasse is still undies.

Dont be daft, the game is dead at 3-0. The miss galvanized them. Whilst our defence was a massive problem last season it does get ignored that we had loads of chances to kill games off throughout the season and missed them.

To blame one player is incredibly simplistic.

Christ, people still buying the 'he wasn't fully fit' nonsense. He had literally months to get fit. It was used as an excuse, as it's quite obvious the lad looked dreadful in training and was never going to make an impact in the Prem.

Poorly scouted player and we were robbed blind. No two ways about it.

The game was dead at 2-0. We consolidated for a good 10/15 minutes after the pen miss but then the subsitution cost us our shape, our momentum and the game. It was the worst i've ever seen in an Everton match by some distance. Throwing a 2 goal lead and then blaming Lukaku, who'd given you the 2 goal lead, is incredibly simplistic. It shouldn't have mattered.

And I reserve the right to always be daft about Oumar Niasse. He's the funniest player in our history and I won't have anyone tell me otherwise. If he ever scores a single goal for the blues I will hire a function room. DJ, full spread, the lot.
