he really leaped like a salmon to beat his man to that one....
 
Was an improvement on what we have seen so far but you have to compare him to what you would expect from a 14 million pound striker and there wasn't really anything there that a lower league lad couldn't do with the added bonus of reading the flight of the ball which Niasse had a mare with most of the game.

He had some nice link up and some horrific link up particularly the 1st half when he won the ball had 2 lads on the right for a counter and nearly sent the ball back in to our half but his pass through for Barkley was weighted well just boruc read it early.

Best part of his game today was winning the ball back high up which is a bonus as when its not always going for you it's good to atleast see a bit of fight out there.

Another plus being that hes not going to be the complete disaster i was expecting but i don't see him ever truly threatening Lukaku's place and would still need a better option should Lukaku move this summer but defo positive signs of improvement today.
 

Well, he is not Kroldrup, definetely. Excited to see him after a real pre-season. And hopefully under a new manager. Mourinho wanted him in Chelsea for a reason and I can see why.
