I do find the approach odd. It's clear you guys made a big mistake but the way in which Koeman/Everton are making that as clear as possible to everybody who will listen pretty much makes Niasse one of the least desired players anywhere in the world right now.

Would have thought the best way to get him off the books would be to try and make it seem he's on the fringes but not quite in favour.
Too much common sense in that.Don't forget we are Everton.

Exactly. I cannot agree more. Martinez had ruined this great football club. Imagine Moshiri has not got rid of him and he is still here...where are we now I wonder...

Ruined it from what exactly???

I already said he was rightfully let go. But he has ruined nothing at all.

No players gives a toss if we are a top 6 team or in the Europa league. It means nothing other than a few days out for the fans.

If we had came 6th last season I dont think we would be signing Messi or anything in the summer!

Im sorry but saying he has ruined Everton is insane. I must have missed all those trophies and world class players we had playing for us over the past 30 years.

We took a very slight knock.

Tbf I think England is the only country in Europe that doesn't take the Europa league seriously, might not help attract the matas or witsels, but would have made us look a little more appealing to the next tier of player!

Who told you that? Do you know our players in person? Not giving a toss oh right 6th is the same as 11th or 15th^_^? Did they ever say this in media? If not don't make up stuff just to cover up Martinez's dreadful records.

Look, we lost the momentum to move a step forward in the last two seasons. The time when he was sacked this team was in a mess from top to bottom. He lost the dressing room. He wasted huge sum to sign a flop as his last resort. You have really short term memory. What was the winning rate again for the last two seasons? Sorry but we were entering into crisis by the time he was sacked whether you like it or not. If you can't read the word epit written over on his records and stupid tactics then cool because as I recalled he did have some loyal fans. We were in a weak position for recuiting players in the summer because 1. Finished in the bottom half two bloody seasons in a row with no Euro. 2. He signed flops like McGeady, Kone, Niasse and Rodriguez and gave new contracts out. We are struggled to get of rid of the deadwoods.

No I think it is insane for you to quote the extreme for covering up his wrongdoing. Messi really? If things work like you said then any other stuff aside from the title is meaningless hence you came up with the conclusion that no players give a toss if we are in Europa or not. A lovely excuse. Taking away credit of achieving good league position for covering up the fraud's shortcoming is not a way to soften his uselessness.

Nowhere near. But at the relative price tag he's a strong contender so far

Indeed.

As it stands at the moment he is the worst purchase we have ever made, given the price tag.

But I for one have not seen enough of Omar to rank him below some of the tripe we have sent out in blue shirts over the years

He did come on against West Ham with 15 minutes to go when we had 10 men, and we effectively lost the game from that exact point.

That was bugger all to do with him.

He should never have come on for Lennon.

If he came on for anyone it should have been Lukaku and the shop closed up for the day.

That was Bobby's head's gone substitution.
