Oumar Niasse

I think Koeman was trying to make an example of Niasse and make our other players try harder so as to avoid the same treatment. Harsh perhaps but a perfectly logical point of view. Maybe Koeman knows we're going to get next to nothing back on Niasse whatever we do.

Of course we aren't the only club to make terrible signings, everyone has done that its just unfortunate that we made quite a lot of them under Martinez and it's left us with this appalling side.

Made some good ones too to be fair.

Well guess we are all hull supporters now :)
Well it's not as if the guy's reputation as being a sack of dump has not come as a surprise to my Tigers work colleagues.
I have been giving them a running commentary during g the past 12 months to them on how dire a signing he has been for the club, notwithstanding who you attach the blame to for the shenanigans.
We still patronise ourselves with the "this is the Everton way" and so on, so let's just put this one behind us and let it go. Wish the lad well. If he turns out to have a good six months then either he will be sold, or heavens forbid turns in to a decent player still on our books.

I don't know what I want.

Do we want him to be boss there so they stump up the insane £10m? But we all look daft because he's actually alright.

Or

Do we want him to be turd like we all think he is so we look clever?

First one innit?

Not tonight we ain't ;)

Well yes 7th place Europa trophy conundrum, hmm I suppose if we got to the quarter finals then it must be worth 8 or so million. In that case I'm with you. Still feel dirty cheering on the Mancs unless it's against our dearest near neighbours.

For what it's worth i don't actually think hull have any real desire to buy him but if he knocks in 15 goals they surely have to think about it.

14 of those will be off his shin or shoulder but sometimes you just hit a lucky streak, I'm praying it's his time.

Here's what I want:

1. He's crap
2. Hull go down
3. They decide he was crap because he just wasn't settled in properly and buy him permanently

This is based of absolutely nothing (as you admit).

Its conspiracy theory madness. We are allowed a bad signing are two, why are we all so precious about it?

It didnt work out, we look like we are getting rid. Everton will carry on and hopefully Niasse gets his career back on track. Thats football.

...mmmm, going over old ground here and as you say I have absolutely no insight. The amount paid was ridiculously high given the players recent and previous history. It just didn't stack up. I was told the selling club actually received £6m but I don't know how accurate the source is so genuinely don't know, but that figure makes more sense based on the players background/stats.

You're absolutely right in saying it's my own conspiracy theory. You're absolutely right in saying it could be just a bad deal.

...I wonder if he'll actually get much game time. Hull's main striker returned at the weekend following a long-term injury. Like others, it's hard to see Hull staying up and it's hard to see them paying £55k per week for a striker in the Championship. I suspect a permanent deal rests on the club's survival.

Defo, we need to be Hull fans for the rest of the season.
