Oumar Niasse

You know the problem with your last line? The one about being a school teacher, you know why that's a load of crap? Because Niasse is a grown man. Football players live outside the real world and never have to comply to normal standards, they can't be sacked like you or I would if we we're found out to be a laughing stock at our job's. I don't see any comparison at all between a child struggling in class and a professional footballer not making the grade. If I was making what he is I'm happy to say that I wouldn't give a shiny one how the manager treated me. I'd actually find it hilarious that my 'punishment' was not being given a locker and not allowed to train with the first team. Life can be nasty and as a footballer he'll never have to live with the harsher lessons about like that in work so toughen up would be my advice to Niasse.
Simple word is respect
RK handled this part very poorly, don't matter how bad he is he deserved respect
Now if he was kicking a fuss up or was a bad influence I agree hang him out to dry and treat him with the respect he deserves
Strange how he has treated ON this way but he treats a drunk driver in Gibson with total respect.
Simple word respect but for some reasons it seems have been misplaced

Its funny how you are talking about the respect he deserves, this is a man who was charged with giving his missus a slap, I know what that kind of man deserves, so maybe people dont always get what they deserve.

Have you ever considered that maybe Ronny doesnt like certain traits in people.

Inclined to agree with all this. So Oumar might be rubbish. No need to treat him like crap on your shoe.

None of us really have a clue what goes on behind closed doors at the club. Koeman might well have very good reasons for treating Niasse like he has. Maybe Koeman feels that players need to earn his respect.

I don't like bringing players personal lives into debates like you have with Gibson, I think it's very disrespectful (so it's ironic that you use that argument to defend Niasse and his treatment) and quite frankly none of our business unless it effects the club. However since you went there I'll say you picked the wrong man to defend in Niasse. Any man whose been charged with hitting his missus deserves zero respect in any walk of life as far as I'm concerned. Perhaps Koeman feels the same way and has acted accordingly.

You are joking over disrespectful, please tell me you are
So what you are saying he is ok with drunk drivers who have the potential of ruining peoples lives
Treat everybody the same in my book, you can't go wrong and you create equality and fairness

Let's not go to far off topic...

My view stands he handled the whole situation poorly, there were better ways of doing it
Not disagreeing he had to be shipped out and quickly, totally behind that

And the locker........madness

Thats completely fine, I would applaud the moral stance, but you cant be disgusted by a man who hits his wife, but not be bothered by a man who drink drives and hits a cyclist.

Which is why I dont think that is the issue at all.

No I said it was disrespectful for people to dive into players personal lives unless they've done something to effect the club because it's really none of our business. I had no intention of bringing up Niasse's personal issues until you felt the need to bring up Gibson's. I'll not defend Gibson for his actions any more then I will Niasse. You brought personal issues into the conversation not me.

I agree we should let the matter rest there and stay on topic form now on......

And my view stands that neither of us have a clue what goes on behind closed doors at the club so neither of us are qualified to say for certainty if Koeman was out of order or not. I believe Koeman must of had a good reason for doing what he's done, you obviously don't.

I shall leav

I should know not to get into arguments with people who sit in the Gwaldys Street, as they are always right
I will leave you with your thoughts on this topic

I never said Gibson's incident didn't bother me mate, I've got very strong views on drunk drivers, I'd like to see them do prison time. As I've already said however I don't personally think that players personal lives are any of our business unless it effects the club. I only brought up Niasse's personal issues in response to counter balance lowste's point once he brought up Gibson's issues. I don't actually think either of their problems outside of football had anything to do with Koeman's decision to treat Niasse like he has, I think it was based on the simple fact that he's an embarrassingly bad player!

So happy with drunk drivers
