I recorded and watched the United game yesterday and here are my comments on Niasse. Overall he was not completely horrible. Managed to bring the ball down better than before, and while his touches looked amateurish, he was able to play effective, simple balls a couple of times. His tackle on Carrick was very poor and he could have been sent packing. While he had some decent touches, his true quality was shown a few times by Phil Jones who was very quick to steal the ball from him a few times.

He did provide one comedy moment in the 34th minute. Ball was passed out to him on the left and he had tonnes of room to run at Valencia. He begins to take it up the left touch line and with his second or third touch he puts it up the line and out....or at least he thought he had and gave up on it, only for the ball to wobble and stay in...at which time Valencia just ran over, picked it up and played an easy pass unopposed. I don't know what is worse, putting the ball out will running up the touch line unopposed, or giving up on it before it actually goes out.

Overall, before this game I would have put Hull's chances at taking the buy option at around 5%....I would imagine it may have actually increased slightly last night.

He hasn't got a clue !!! he runs into his own players !!! he's got the worst control i have ever seen!!!! I thought Strac was poor but Niasse is worse and much more expensive
