Koeman is a different kettle of fish altogether. He is arrogant and aloof. The arrogance would be bearable if he'd earned it as a manager, instead he's been chased out of some of the jobs he's had and in 17 years as a manager won nothing of note.

It might have been said before, but I can't help but think that Niasse signing a few weeks prior to the investment from chap who made all his Joel Rubles in Russia was a bit convenient

I don't think a track record alone proves you're a good manager but I don't think you can dismiss his record as being worthless and meaning nothing. It shows there's a good chance he is a good manager, irrespective of what league you manage in, unless you outspend all your rivals by large amounts you have to have skill to win anything.

Kendall had only managed Blackburn Rovers and took them to the 2nd divison before he managed us. I guess if the internet was around then you'd be telling us all how rubbish a manager he is because he has done nothing?
