Winning the Dutch league x3, the Dutch Cup x1, Dutch Charity Shield x2, Portugeuse Charity shield x1, Copa del Rey x1. Nothing of note I guess.

Let's compare that to a manager you do rate in Martinez ........ hold on, not really worth it as he's barely won anything. lol
Worthless in any substantial sense. The Copa Del Rey was a decent enough win, though nowhere near as important a domestic trophy as the FA Cup.

Winning the Dutch league with seperate teams isn't worthless imo and I find it funny how someone who makes such a big deal about the value of winning cups doesn't rate or place any worth on a manager who has a track record of winning cups, on top of winning leagues.

Your double standards in the criteria by which you rate managers is shocking tbh. You support managers who have barely won anything then berate the achievements of managers who have won more than them then expect your arguments on their merits to be taken seriously?

It's not a great league.

In western Europe where the only leagues that matter are I'd place it in this list as follows:

Premier League
La Liga
Bundesliga
Serie A
Ligue 1
Primeira Liga
Eredivisie
Jupiler League
SPL

They lost 4-0 to Chelsea
4-0 to Liverpool
5-1 to Liverpool
6-0 to Man City

Point is, since since the end of 2008/9 we haven't finished above either of UTD or Spurs unless they've been so bad that they've sacked their manager during the season, that season was 13/14.

Let's night count Spurs as some sort of footballing super power because they ain't.

The reason Spurs kept sacking their guvnor in the middle of the season on a regular basis is because they have indeed been so "bad" when they were forced to act.

They have a good manager now but sure who know what will happen when Poch moves in to bigger things.

And I am surprised at you wanting to hold up the last two completed seasons as some sort of barometer by which to measure EFC against Spurs, Ian :(

What is the "Jupiter League", Dave?

Apparently the story with niasse and martinez . Martinez took a back hander to sign him .

Of course thats a 'story'. The same way there's a story about him not being a professional footballer too. Its ridiculous.

Its like accusing Fergie of fraud for signing Bebe for £7mill. Its a signing that didnt work out and he's not good enough for what we want to achieve - nothing more.
