And then Geldof wondered why Band Aid's follow up single never really sold with a title like that..Do they know he broke his wrist on his bird's face?

be careful what you write on a public forum unless you know its a fact otherwise you could be looking at a potential lawsuit for libel as one blackpool fan can attest toDo they know he broke his wrist on his bird's face?

no and why are you going off topic? Are you going to call the police mate?

Ahem, I hate to be pedantic here but the Romans couldn't have enslaved Saxons in Britain as they weren't here. They arrived with various other Germanic tribes, including the English after the Romans left. Other than that good post. No, I am definitely right.
The Romans, for example, took Saxon and Celtic captives from Britain and Frankish and Germanic people from Gaul back to Rome as slaves.
The Vikings enslaved many Anglo-Saxons.
People were commodities......they were regarded as pruck by conquering armies and their generals used them as a means of paying their men.
Slavery in itself was more to do with economics than racism.
If you were in a village which fell foul to Classical era, Dark Age or Medieval besiegers you were either slaughtered or enslaved.....no matter what colour your skin was

He treated him like dirt. Let's not pull punches. I dont like Koeman and stuff like that is one of the causes of my dislike. He's an oaf with zero emotional intelligence.I know you will say that Koeman treated him too harshly, and perhaps he did. But to be honest, I very much like the hard stance he is taking with these players who simply aren't good enough for us. We need to move them on and start using our promising youth players to fill the squad places.
One question for you Dave. Do you think Niasse is good enough for Everton?
I think Leicester will just have enough to get out of it.Boro could deffo join them mate, they lack any sort of goals in that team and thats always a massive worry especially when it gets down to the wire
Sunderland and Hull just seem willing to sell the better players though which will save a couple of other teams, utter baffling not even taking a small risk to stay up financially really
Don't discount leicester either mate, Burnley away, united home then swansea away the next 3 could see them right in the mix by the time the rs visit them in the midst of the sevilla CL ties
I think Leicester will just have enough to get out of it.
Underlines just how much a of a freak last season was.
Similar to Everton in 13/14 Moyes defence mixed with UTD and SPURS having nightmares and we finished 1 place higher than the season proir, then, much like Leicester we couldn't back it up.I think it underscores just how good Kante was last season (and this to be fair) but he carried that midfield for the whole season. An immense player.
But it was an absolute freak, a perfect storm.
Why would I?? If I was to comment about how pretty someone was I still wouldn't go up to them and say it to their face.So lads, over here in the 50 Nifty, we're in a time where people's filters on divisive issues - racism, homophobic, zenophobic, etc... are vanishing overnight. Cats can say what they want to say but when you're doing it with what appears to casual disregard of those issues, you're going to get painted with that brush.
Someone in this thread said it best - if you don't have the balls to say the same thing to to someone's face, you shouldn't post it in a public forum where the interwebs are your insulation.
Highly doubt that if you saw Niasse in the street, you'd tell him "Oy, think you're the darkest player in the Premier League."
Aye, unfit and needing at least 6months to a year before he starts to settle into English Football? He will be like a new signing when he comes back for pre season in July.
