So you can judge all this in the 'minutes' (as you have stated, not months or weeks but minutes) he played for us when we were awful, the players had downed tools and wanted the manager out, he come from a slower league and was injured.

He could score 5 goals and get 2 assists today and people would still go on about him not finishing that one chance and misplacing a random pass.

yes mate, yes I can. If he scores 5 goals and gets 2 assists today I will be delighted for him plus it may mean we get some dollar for him.

I don't get the attitude of "so you can judge all this in minutes" like I'm trying to be a smart arse. It's my opinion mate, a judgement of watching Everton and football for about 34 years.

Seen plenty worse than him playing for Everton, and I don't remember them being treated like dogs.
I agree with you Dave, he's actually done quite well for Hull, been a threat against Arsenal and who can forget the goal against the RS! Far worse players have been given less stick, he just never really got a chance with us.

He's a big daft clumsy lummox but he is a pain in the arse for defenders.

Deserved better here, that's for sure.
That's pretty accurate. He's active, making good runs, good in the air for sure. He is clumsy and let's be honest, Arsenals CBs and really team is SOFT. He isn't going to look like a physical force against most teams.

Dave, I don't necessarily disagree with you.

However, I would suggest you are only labouring this because a. He was a Martinez signing and b. Koeman was blunt in his (correct) assessment that the player was not for him.

Let's not turn yet another thread into a Koeman bashing exercise eh ?

Straqulersi(so?) was utter turd. Got his game and the fans loved him. He's just one. Niasse though is treated differently because he came in at the arse end of the previous regime and this present manager threw him to the wolves quite shamefully.

He's not great, but then again, that was only ever half the issue.

I agree with Koeman, he isn't an Everton class player. But so what? There's worse clubs than Everton and he's at one now doing ok. That's all that needed to happen. Not play him, keep quiet on him and then sell him. Didn't roll out that way though, and I don't see any reason why that shouldn't be pointed out..it's nothing any of us should feel defensive about.

He's not, but neither is this Arsenal team. Frankly, this is a terrible match. Clumsy tackles everywhere, unforced errors, and every players seems like they have tunnel vision. Ozil doesn't, but also hardly looks interested.

Hard to judge our boy with this poor a game.
