Oumar Niasse

A lot of people say that he was treated badly, but I'm not sure that's true. Or maybe it's true, but it makes it sound like Koeman and Kenwright got together and said, "God I hate that blert! What can we do to make his life miserable?", and I don't think that's the case.

Rather, I get the feeling that most clubs isolate players that they want to get rid of. The reason being that if you make them feel like part of the team -- involved in training, traveling to aways, etc. -- then they're much less likely to agree to a move to a lower league or an undesirable location (like Hull). Quite possibly it's a lesson that teams have learned the hard way. So, yes, he was treated badly but, to paraphrase Abe Vigoda, it's not personal, it's just business.

I have no real proof for this, it's just an impression I get from reading about Oumar, and also about other similar situations.

edit: Is that a correct use of "blert"? I don't actually know what it means. But I did change "practice" to "training" and "road trips" to "aways" so as to sound less foreign.

How can you say a guy who scored that goal against Chelsea is cack?

Beckford was a decent player but we got rid cos of his bad attitude.

Mate, agree that goal against Chelsea was magnificent (partly due to the lucky bounces but mostly because it was the winner) but it doesn't disguise he'd got utter pish hold up play and control at time. His movement was excellent and he was a great instinctive finisher / was lucky as you like (the Chelsea goal featured a few lucky bounces, see also scuffers against Sunderland). But like Niasse was not a rounded footballer.

Hope he gets a medal (if we win the title of course) for his valuable contribution to the U23's

"Oumar Niasse would be eligible for a title winners’ medal should Everton win the Premier League 2 crown.

But it would be left to the discretion of the club to decide if he got one.

Everton’s under-23s need just two points from their final two games to clinch the championship ahead of Manchester City.

Niasse was a regular during the first-half of the season, making six appearances and scoring eight times as the young Blues set the pace in PL2.

But the Senegal international last played for David Unsworth’s side on January 8 against Sunderland after sealing a loan move to Hull City."

He could put it in his locker....

If they stay up ,a deal could be done with their centre half Dawson coming our way - we have shown interest in Dawson only in the media reports though?
to me dawson would be an ideal replacement for one of our aging centre backs!

Only downside to them turning a loan into a perm is that he can play against us. Defo going to score a hat trick on his return to Goodison, the silky Senegalese sex God. He's going to make us wish we gave him a locker.

I hope you mean Maguire
