But he had signed in January, we all saw how poor he was. As a manager of a rival premier league club Koeman would have been aware of this. Jeez he may well have read GOT.... Remember the stories of the youth players laughing at him, and the comments from 1st team players.

Come on mate he's made 3 appearances for our first team, I get he was poor but unless something Devine has happened he can't be that much better then he has been. People take time to adapt, Klassen has made 3 times as many appearances as him. Koeman wouldn't be so ridiculous as to give him the same treatment because people takes time to adapt. I think he came in, tried to prove that the old managers ways were out and that included a player he deemed his that wasn't up to scratch. The way he's been treated is poor to say the least. I agree he's obviously improved but there's a way of doing things. Koeman could have quietly let him out the back door but he didn't he ostracised him and made him less desirable to potential buyers. Anyway it's done now, onwards an upwards blues!

I dont even think it's about him becoming a great striker. I think people are genuinely just made up for the kid because it obviously meant a lot to him. We've watched some dross this past few weeks and hopefully it's about to change but it was nice to watch a lad get a goal and it mean so much to him. It was a little win for him, regardless of how good or bad he is the lad wants to be here and he's been through some pride swallowing times with us. I hope for him and us he has many more, if it doesn't work out il wish him wish him well but because it won't be because of lack of effort on his part
