I don't want to speak too soon, but it seems like a stroke of luck that Niasse and DCL are coming good right when we need them.

The more sensible, of course, would point out that it's necessity that's forced them into their best positions, and maybe this would always have been the result.

Yes both with 3. We should absolutely consider playing oumar with DCL up top in a 4-4-2. Davies right behind, and then rotate the others in midfield. Davy, Siggy and Rooney aren't getting it done right now. They don't have a divine right to play every week, don't care much that are.

What kills me is all these guys were already here. Yet we spent a truckload on players who haven't produced and yet seem to be blocking the lads who were already here.

the new chaps are good players but we are trying to shoehorn them into a system/formation that just isnt working. Niasse showed at Hull last year that he can find th enet, that was in a cra team really struggling. He may bot lok like a footballer but his job is to slot. He seems to be doing that at the moment. He's no Messi though lets be honest.
