The manager is making a massive balls up of this squad. Oumar Niasse being proclaimed as our best option is just one in a long list of horrific events.

...he stuck to his task but the substitution really didn’t make sense for a number of reasons. Niasse isn’t a loan striker, he’s effective exploiting the space beyond the target man. As soon as he came on any balls played forward invariably came back. DCL was holding it up.

The substitution was a poor tactical change. In the circumstances, Niasse should have been told to sit back down.

I can't see what some people are so against Niasse, he really isn't that bad and has an eye for goal he's worked hard to get noticed and done ok. If he plays regular for the rest of the season he would score atleast 10 in total.

..agree, he needs to add that dimension to his game but he is improving.
