BREAKING NEWS

We understand no deal has been agreed for the transfer of Oumar Niasse.

However, Crystal Palace are interested in the 27-year-old.

Reports in the newspapers have been reporting that Palace had agreed a deal with Everton for the striker.

i don't think sky sports can make their mind up tbh.

If we dont sign another striker, then i would prefer to keep him as a squad player. Ive always had a huge non-gay soft spot for him lol

If he does not leave, there is no point in not utilising him in some capacity.

Heck, it ain't like he can't find the net at EPL level or owt.

Palace fans seem quite happy..

Yes, I don't get the negativity about this player. Looked decent in a s*** Hull side that would've been condemned a lot sooner than it was without him. Also has complimentary strengths to Benteke I think, plays more with his feet. I think Everton treated him quite badly, they kept telling him he was s*** and kicked him out of the locker room and basically told him to f*** off and go somewhere else, don't care where.

Probably the best striker in the three relegated teams with the exception of Defoe. If you want to see a team that went down because of s*** strikers, look at Middlesborough. Bumfluff FFS.

I watched him again the other night playing for the U23s and it confirmed what I knew already - not worth £13 mill, not the long term answer for us as a striker, plays with a smile on his face , scores goals , runs his heart out. At one stage you could hear what sounded like Unsy shout out "Oumar , blah , blah " and off he trotted to do the job asked if him. He will do a good job for some team , and may well have done a bit part job for us if handled differently , but that's water under the bridge. If he leaves today then good luck to him .

Ecstatic mate..

Serious question mate , how do you feel about signing him ? Putting aside your general disquiet at the current situation.

To me he doesn't look like a footballer then can crack one in , I think he'll score a few goals but I'd say far from what you'd want from a top level striker but probably not as bad as we've made him out to be .
