I watched him again the other night playing for the U23s and it confirmed what I knew already - not worth £13 mill, not the long term answer for us as a striker, plays with a smile on his face , scores goals , runs his heart out. At one stage you could hear what sounded like Unsy shout out "Oumar , blah , blah " and off he trotted to do the job asked if him. He will do a good job for some team , and may well have done a bit part job for us if handled differently , but that's water under the bridge. If he leaves today then good luck to him .
To me he looked good fast - held the ball up,and scored a peach of a goal - RK has never ever used him hes had no chances so we cant judge him he scored five at hull one v the red lot !
maybe RK should have used him this season he gave him a locker!
If he had played well, at least we could have demanded a good fee for him if RK thinks he is pants!

Serious question mate , how do you feel about signing him ? Putting aside your general disquiet at the current situation.

To me he doesn't look like a footballer then can crack one in , I think he'll score a few goals but I'd say far from what you'd want from a top level striker but probably not as bad as we've made him out to be .
I think the real problem is the current situation. Had we got in some of our intended and very necessary targets; a CB, a keeper, a replacement / backup for Cabaye and a RWB then he would have been a useful addition to the squad. If he's our only signing....
Not his fault, he looks an honest pro.

I get that mate and I think you need players especially if you want to back the manager and to play the way he seems to want . As it happens I wouldn't trust parish as far as I could chuck him but I'm not sure the blame would lay.

On niasse I've got a mate whose a palace fan and I honestly don't know what to say about niasse , hull fans seemed to think he was ok . That's about the best I can manage really .

Maybe someone being strong and busy up that end of the pitch may be helpful. Does appear to scuff in a lot of goals, so maybe a little spark to get Palace back on the front foot.

Daily Fail: Crystal Palace are confident they will complete the £7million signing of Everton striker Oumar Niasse after agreeing terms with the Merseyside club.

Just take the money and run.
