‘It wasn’t a dive he received contact’ So what!!!! A dive is putting yourself to the ground whether there was contact or not, which is exactly what he did.

Yes he won a pen and scored it but will be banned for a couple of games for ‘diving’ when we will need him, so was it worth it??

Also, in the present moment I'd 100% accept the fact that he earned us a draw away at Palace rather than lose every time regardless of the retrospective action.

Anyway, whether it's right or not the whole 'deception of a match official' line genuinely concerns me. It's open ended and open to interpretation solely based on the referee and the panel in question.

There's no way the FA are going to be consistent with this. Not a friggin chance.

He couldn’t have come into the team at a harder time though, he’s hardly going to drag us onto glory by himself. If the senior pros weren’t useless he’d be firing I’m sure.

Dann made no attempt for the ball, there is on contact! Niasse went down easy but i think a ban is ridiculous. If this happens in the middle of the park it wouldn't even be a talking point.

Niasse could've easily turned around there and said that the shoulder barge from Dann was enough to knock him over and NO ONE could prove otherwise. The ref even agreed, hence why he awarded the pen in the first place!! To then say afterwards that he was 'deceived' is farcical - it's his mistake!

I'm not pin pointing our terrible form on just young Tom. But he has contributed to our utter crud football we have played make no mistake, I'm not sure what his passing stats are like but I shouldn't think they are very good.

I can see a rule coming in whereby a goalie who having caught the ball whilst standing, then falls to the floor in order to waste time, can be retrospectively booked/banned. By the way who makes the decision to retrospectively look at incidents - SKY?
