2017/18 Oumar Niasse

So it’s ok for Dann to put his hand across Oumar and hope to get away with it - and to complain when Sh.. happens.

But it’s only to be expected for us.

Six reasons we are in the mire

1 Disciplinarian Manager treating players like kids and alienating loads.

2 Massive key player injury list

3 Tough start

4 Not playing out of form teams

5 No Centre forward

6 Less or equal rest time between games in EVERY PL game pre-Christmas

...I presume this rule only applies to divers who get a decision in their favour. Not sure if it only applies to penalties. If it doesn’t, then the panel are going to be busy.

Supposedly it also applies to dismissals mate. Someone had posted this up on another forum:

Here is FA rules:

"DISCIPLINARY REGULATIONS - SCHEDULE A TO D 2017-2018 349

Schedule D – Successful Deception of a Match Official Standard Directions for incidents relating to the successful deception of a Match Official. For Players of Clubs of The FA Premier League, EFL, National League and The FA WSL competing in First Team Competitive Matches (FTCM).

(a) General Principles

These Standard Directions will apply where The Association charges a Player with Misconduct under the Rules of The Association for incidents relating to the successful deception of a Match Official by way of a clear act of simulation which leads either to a penalty being awarded or the dismissal of an opposing Player."

Scott dan made contact with niasse who was running at pace. This contact DID have an effect on niasse's balance and running stride. So he WAS impeded.
Niasse COULD have regained balance and stayed on his feet but he was smart and used the contact to go down and win a penalty.
The fact is contact was made. Yes it was soft but not a dive.

Jeez Toffeedan I think we get the message now.

Only the corrupt and incompetent FA could create and utilize a system where it is deemed fine, normal and acceptable that ref's sometimes do make mistakes and get things wrong in a football match and then 2 days after a match of their own choosing deem that a ref made a mistake and missed a simulation and then issue a 2 match ban for what is by their own rules just a yellow card offence. Absolutely disgraceful.

They need a complete overhaul. Incompetent and corrupt to the core.
