Have the FA thought about this: some time soon by the law of averages a Liverpool player will get done for simulation, then the 13 strong pool of judges on their diving committee will be handed death threats in the form of bullets in the post, phone calls to family members in the dead of night, nooses dangled form the roof's of their houses...and that's just from fellow panelist Danny Murphy.

As sure as night follows day that will happen.
They’ll probably pick the same panelist’s who are still crying about Mane’s sending off against City.

Yes.
Law 12 Section 1 of the IFAB Rules of the Game.
A direct free kick is awarded if a player commits any of the following offences against an opponent in a manner considered by the referee to be careless, reckless or using excessive force:

  • charges
  • jumps at
  • kicks or attempts to kick
  • pushes

A direct free kick is awarded if a player commits any of the following offences:

  • handles the ball deliberately (except for the goalkeeper within their penalty area)
  • holds an opponent
  • impedes an opponent with contact

Likewise simulation is defined as:
(A player) attempts to deceive the referee e.g. by feigning injury or pretending to have been fouled (simulation)

I look forward to you following those exact rules for our players also....you know, because we all want consistance.

i have no problem with them charging our player if they believed he dived, and i think most evertonians share this view, because we all want to see the cheating and deceit wiped out of the game. Our problem is though that there's no consistency and if it's not going to be applied to every situation then what's the actual point? It's just going to be another new introduction like 5th officials behind the goal and yellow cards for diving that will be applied sporadically. It's simply not going to be something that will help the game, because it's been enforced so poorly.

love the rumour that this has only been reported because dann complained. The oaf still cost them 2 points because he can't control a simple pass ha

Oh my, this is like a thread on RAWK from years gone by.

Quoting the laws of the game.

FA is corrupt.

Would not happen to ( Insert random name of team )

Shall we get some t-shirts made up for the players to wear on Thursday in support of him.

YES!

Ban him for diving like he should be and move on! He won’t do it again and I’m sure more players will think twice about doing it.

All I can see is people pretty much saying...."we are the victims....its not our fault".

Get a grip.

I don’t see a single post defending Niasse’s exaggeration or anyone defending diving. I’d say we’re 100% against diving.

The issue is why has the FA allowed numerous other examples to go, but charged Niasse? The club would be neglecting it's duty to the player not to contest that.
