I am not his greatest fan, I don't believe he has enough quality to be our second choice centre forward. However he did score 8 goals and does get shots away. He is definitely worth a place on the Senegal squad.

I get he gives his all and can finish, but I’ve also seen him start games where he’s been atrocious. He couldn’t even control the ball, simple passes to teams mates going astray. If we don’t get a quality striker and Tosun gets injured early next season, we will be left with him and DCL till January.Happy for him to be the 2nd striker behind Tosun. And more than happy for Walcott to be the non-conventional, pacey striker people are crying out for, if required. Allows us to spend the 100m we apparently have on a LB, CM and a CB.
We'd get near 20m for him, probably not enough to replace him with someone better. Player of the season for a team who finished 8th (behind Pickford OFC).

I would personally sell and buy another quality striker. Ask yourself if he was at a Brighton or Bournemouth and had a similar season For them. And he was available for 15 mil, you would be happy us buying him to be our 2nd choice striker next season.
Not when I’ve watched, Tosun is a class above himhe's shown tosun up whenever he's played
Tosun has literally shown nothin other than a couple of nice finishes, looks more donkey than decentNot when I’ve watched, Tosun is a class above him
I’m not convinced long term Tosun will be good enough for us moving forward. But saying he’s a donkey is ridiculous compared to Niasse. It’s easy to remember Niasse’s last performance, where he played well to be fair. But I can remember him starting games around Christmas totally stinking the place out.Tosun has literally shown nothin other than a couple of nice finishes, looks more donkey than decent
The simple fact is Niasse has more impact on a game than what tosun does.I’m not convinced long term Tosun will be good enough for us moving forward. But if you’re happy with nssse up front next season, then good luck with that.
Jesus, the bar has been set low. Bring back KoneSo crap he scored 8 goals this season and has one of the best minutes per goal ratio in the league. Won us numerous points and was our second highest scorer in a team that often had 1 shot in a game behind rooney who only beat him due to penalties.
Yeah, I see your point.
I don't think we could handle Kone and Niasse on the field at the same time... The God King and the Golden God on the field sending the opposing side quivering in fearJesus, the bar has been set low. Bring back Kone
Anyone care to have a guess what his transfer value is now?
Think he was off to palace for 6mil last summer...surely must be 15mil now as hes scored some goals...
Am I well off beam by not being able to stop myself thinking of Niasse as a sort of Andy Gray Lite player?
My memory isnt brilliant, but remembering the goals in the Watford cup final, the lunatic diving header 8 inches off the ground, sort of make me think thats the sort of stuff Niasse would attempt, back in the day.
I certainly dont remember Gray as a fantastic footballer, but attitude and never say die approach does resonate with The Prince.
Or I have been out in the sun too long.
He definitely has the Gray never say die and effort attributes, but doesn't have his snide. Gray may have been limited as a footballer, but he was a nasty snarling piece of work, and was a very very good finisher.Am I well off beam by not being able to stop myself thinking of Niasse as a sort of Andy Gray Lite player?

I'm not taking anything from Niasse, I just don't think the Gray types of the world exist much these days.
