If we get 8m or so then that's great business.
The wrist injury was a massive blag to prevent us actually seeing how crap he wasWhen this lad does finally leave the club his name will be remembered by many future generations of Evertonians. Long after his actual Everton career ends this will become a taleof myth of legend & legend. Not much of which will be true, but when have the facts ever prevented a good story.
How was £13m of real money, when it represented a deal in the top five of our most expensive purchases at the time, allowed to be spent on an unproven sometimes Senagalese international striker who had enjoyed a nomadic irrelevant football career & limited goal ratio, arrive from a bang average Russian side & be an Everton First Team starting centre forward?
I don't know either. Maybe we can accept it as an expensive mistake as its a matter of opinions in football, but to my mind one of the most bewildering signings in the history of our club. Throw in the wrist injury as to the reason why he couldn't play when he first arrived & when he did appear you thought your 'arl fella could do better it makes you query what level of governance actually happened in the club before funds were exchanged. One for another day I suspect!
Wonder what players like him do pre-season/now. Is he allowed to train alone at the club or with the U23's? Never in any first team training pics. Can't say I'm a fan of the way he's treated.
He's payed £50,000 a week to do a couple of hours' work a day, I wouldn't worry too much about how he's treated.
They probably made him train in his pants and everything.Irrespective of wage etc. he's still a human being which is the way I'm looking at it. It's like being in school and having to learn in the cupboard on your own.
I actually feel sorry for the lad, was offered a move to the club and play in the Premier League. Who knows what promises Martinez fed him.
There's no way Koeman should play him but players careers are short so there's no good him playing for the under 23's and not even being s part of the squad.
Hopefully we can sell him, get a bit of money for him, get his wages off the books and give him the opportunity to play some football elsewhere.

I'd start him. Offers more than Sandro.
