Is this the same Niasse who netted more than most of our team last season, for a relegated team?
I wonder was his goals to minutes ratio is?

Brighton and Hove Albion could be about to make a move for Everton‘s unwanted striker Oumar Niasse.

The 27-year-old Senegal international has been made surplus to requirements at Goodison Park by Ronald Koeman following heavy investment into his squad over the summer.

Niasse spent the second-half of last season on loan from Everton at Hull City, scoring a spurt of goals despite the Tigers eventual relegation down to the Championship.

He had hoped to be involved in Everton’s first-team plans in the upcoming season after being handed a squad number but hasn’t played a single minute of Everton’s pre-season campaign.

Newly-promoted Brighton are keen on bringing the striker to the Amex, according to the Liverpool Echo, but will not be willing to match the £13.5m the Toffees shelled out for Niasse when signing him from Locomotiv Moscow in 2016.

Koeaman has recently relegated Niasse to Everton’s under-23 squad as they continue to invite bids for the 27-year-old.

The club will recoup £7m-£8m at least in this market.
