we are though mate. everything to do with Everton comes with expectations because we ARE massive. if we were to win the league it wouldnt come as such a big shock because deep down we kind of expect it to happen sooner or later. Leicester and Blackburn winning the league was crazy nuts but us winning stuff aint so far out man. are you a youngster? 12/13 maybe? i can just about understand your point if thats the case but around 2004/5 we were 2nd in the league at christmas and but for showing relegation form for the rest of the season and coming 4th...well, the rest is history....anyway, the politics involved in the modern era premier league pretty much squish our chances .... to be continued
So if we went on to win the league next season you wouldn’t be shocked? My exact point mentioning we was second even if we had finished second it would of been a one off and still not won anything. And no unfortunately I’ve had to endure majority of poor seasons since 95 fa cup.

They can be whatever they want to be and the above is just MY opinion but what I am is a realist and can debate with my head wasn’t saying we don’t support the club our fans are amazing and deserve so much better but when it comes to debate and knowledge of players the figures spoken about are unrealistic again that’s their opinion but at least speak some sense.
Punctuation please. Maybe still gassed.

For the sake of clarity, can you name some of the worst offenders please ?

I’ll even start the ball rolling, just to help you get started @ForeverBlue92
If you know anything about football it’s clear to see who they are regularly post with no research into the matter and are so wide of the mark it’s unreal actually makes me laugh reading when they post

Imagine being this offended that some people called some crap Spurs players crap and Daniel Levy a little dildo headed gargoyle.
Not offended at all. If you was a player and a free agent and was offered the same deal and first team regular every week and didn’t support Everton where would you go?

Some of the things I read on here is so laughable I know it’s an open forum and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but from people knowing absolutely nothing about football or player ability to people wearing blue tinted glasses and not knowing when to speak with their brain and not their heart. We all love EFC but let’s put it into perspective we’re no longer a massive club and haven’t been for years we’ve been runner up once since 96 in any cup. Not been close to anywhere near the top of the league in reality we have a poor squad and also being run into the ground from the boardroom it’s clear we can’t bring in as much as we’ve spent and can we accept Spurs are miles ahead of us in terms of stability, stadium, owner, and squad and are competitive in league and competitions.
Given up pretending, lid? No need to hide your true self.

I know I shouldn't but I will reply.

I find it hard to believe that somebody who supports Everton could have so little insight or knowledge about the club,
About it's supporters or indeed that one disappointing season does not accurately represent how the club has performed in the premiership over the last two decades.

Spurs finished well last season but sometime after Christmas Conte was so unhappy about the position at the club that he was questioning his future there. That same Spurs you mention whose squad you say is infinitely better than ours are currently linked with signing at least two of our players and at the same time trying to dump three of their own.

Our neighbours are certainly going through a good spell at the moment but have already lost their best player this season and will probably lose their other best player in twelve months at the latest.
They got lucky with their managerial appointment and their recruitment but things change in football quickly, just ask Utd or Arsenal.

It is a mark of the size of Everton the level of unhappiness that exists amongst it's supporters , but as I say everything is cyclical and the new stadium with the opportunities it offers can change the fortunes of the club completely which hopefully will be allied to better management.

Really one disappointing season? Ok so where’s richarlison play CF or on the left is he better than son or Kane? No. Player for player who else gets in the Spurs team? Lucky with their recruitment and manager? They’ve also lined up replacements before their best players leave. Yes just like when moshiri come in with money we’ve only dreamed of for years tbh we could be playing in the best stadium the world will ever see not going to make that much difference
