Why?

People think Richarlison is worth like £60m because his back up at international level has gone for £45m with only 12 months left on a deal.

People think DCL is worth like £40m - he scored 20 league goals 12 months ago.

I've not seen people putting valuations on other players. But those are hardly unreasonable valuations.

Gordon is nowhere near his potential maximum value so that's why people would expect a high fee. Why would you sell an asset cheaply when there is an extremely high chance it will rise in value in the short term?
 
Strange summer this, stuck between the buzz of survival and fear of what's next and it seems nobody is willing to fully commit to their shots, bravo CQ for at least trying.

I think £60m is absolutely maximum I’ve see. 75 and 80 mentioned I’ve seen comparison to Gordon with De Bruyne even if just mentioning pace shouldn’t even be mentioned to the likes of him also seen someone mention Gordon had made it he absolutely hasn’t he had a good break through season In a poor team. Looked decent and definitely something to build on but got a lot to still add to his game. I’d take your hand off for 40m for DCL reasonable price but if he has another poor season that drops significantly. You can’t put a price on potential when the likes of Haaland is breaking CL records at 21 you can only go off stats and performances. Gordon hardly pulled up trees

I don't know or care where he will play, you will have to ask Conte... he is the one trying to sign him.

Last season was spent chasing European football and fell away during the last few games.
Nobody could claim Everton is an example of how to run a club but in spite of severe mismanagement we are still in the division, building a new stadium and for all our lack of success we have won as much as Spurs... which is nothing.
 

See the nutty pretend Bluenose kopites have recovered from the cs gas and embarrassment of being bummed by Madrid in another cl final to come on here and spout utter drivel yet again about Everton and our supposed transfer fees.

Think I’ve demonstrated why Everton should be demanding bigger fees for some of our better players, and there is nothing wrong with our fans saying so you spunk trumpets, as it seems to be a sellers market at the moment.

ah right! just re-read that page proper. do you think you`ll use it again? i kind of police the language used on here, informally of course. some posters police punctuation, some go for spelling and some post nudie pics. youre obviously an ex premier league manager who knows his onions by the way you berated us mere mortals` footy savvy, so fire away then Mickey. how would you rebuild the Mighty Everton?

Not been close to anywhere near the top of the league in reality we have a poor squad and also being run into the ground from the boardroom it’s clear we can’t bring in as much as we’ve spent and can we accept Spurs are miles ahead of us in terms of stability, stadium, owner, and squad and are competitive in league and competitions.
